Dancing with film tunes

Music is very important in dance. It is the one prompting us to tap, sway and move. I also believe that in order to love any dance, it is vital that you must like the music that traditionally goes with it. If not, then the emotions that are needed will not flow through your steps.

This is my most favourite tango arrangement to date — PELICULAS (films) by Demoliendo Tangos on the Carne Argenta album. Listening to this track somehow transports me to Tuscanny in Italy instead of Buenos Aires. Perhaps this is due to the inclusion of some of Morricone’s compositions.

I have yet to own this album so I hope the generous souls are reading this. Meantime, I hope you enjoy it and much as I do!

By the way, can you name the soundtracks included?
